Class room teaching is done with adequate oral explanation enhanced by projects and charts done by students . High achievers and slow learners are identified and trained accordingly . Follow up of the teaching is done regularly through class work exercises and home assignments.
Terminal and mid – term exams are conducted as per government schedule . Besides these cycle tests for std X & XII are conducted. To ensure regularity in studies class tests and slip tests are conducted frequently for all classes.
Computer education is an integral part of the curriculum at ICF School. Students are trained to learn the latest software applications and programming languages. The highly qualified teachers impart the knowledge of computers and fully equip the students for the challenges of the computer age.
The Science lab also provides an open environment for students to experiment and do research work. Under the professional guidance and assistance given by our science teachers, students are also encouraged to exhibit their innovative powers by developing samples and models. Our Science lab is highly sophisticated and fully equipped to meet the curriculum requirements for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. We have separate workstations for Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
The School library has a wide collection of 7000 books with educational Magazines and Journals.
Each classroom houses a large area and is designed such that every student gets the teacher’s maximum individual attention. There are specific number classrooms with smart class for regular teaching alone and a number of other rooms like the Audio-Visual rooms and Resource rooms to facilitate better learning.
The audio-visual room is extensively used by the faculty and the students to make presentations. To ensure long-term retention of what is taught, the school uses Power Point presentations to hone student skills and encourage student-teacher interactions.
